Accelerating the Future of Work: Slack and Fuze Join Forces

Open communication channels change the way that teams collaborate, and in turn, how an entire workforce operates. As the structure of work evolves from cubicles and headquarters to remote and fully distributed teams, business leaders are tasked with equipping their company with communication tools that not only seamlessly navigate work days, but account for the fast-paced nature of the modern worker.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce our integration for Slack, a like-minded organization on advancing the future of work. As the global enterprise evolves, business leaders will continue to identify ways to support workers across diverse industries, backgrounds and skill sets. Our integration with Slack bridges digital gaps to embrace a cohesive user experience, ushering the next wave of integrated and agile workforce tools. This means less time scheduling meetings and more time solving real challenges.

Bringing together two best-in-breed solutions for the enterprise, organizations can enable team messaging with Slack and the power of Fuze’s global communications and collaboration for users.  With this integration, users can easily shift between the two platforms, using Slack commands and one-click simplicity to escalate from a Slack direct message, public or private channel, to a Fuze video meeting, including full screen sharing capabilities.

For those spending most of their working day in Slack, Fuze’s integration expands to scheduled meetings as well, enabling Slack’s integration with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to display upcoming Fuze Meetings, so you are only ever a click away to collaborate with colleagues and customers.

As traditional methods of communication, like picking up a desk phone or switching applications for chat and video, become less viable solutions at work, integrated platforms are challenging conventional workforce communication. Instead, a coexistence of these tools creates an open environment where innovation and productivity can thrive. It’s our shared perspective that communicating should be fast and easy. The future of our workforce depends on an accessible, flexible ecosystem of tools that empower employees to get the best work done with each other.

The Fuze integration for Slack will be available through the Slack App Store.
