Today we announced that Fuze has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by 8x8. Once closed, the deal will increase our combined global presence, drive product innovation, and accelerate global market leadership for enterprise cloud communications. To all Fuze customers, partners, and employees, we are committed to your ongoing success in this next chapter, as we drive innovation, value, and growth together with 8x8.

Combining forces with 8x8 is a natural fit. We share a common vision of the hybrid work model and the future of integrated cloud communications. 8x8 and Fuze also share a customer-first and product-first culture, a focus on global enterprise customers, partner-centric go-to-market strategies, and our teams share the same SaaS and cloud communications DNA. The transaction is expected to close during 8x8’s fourth fiscal quarter, subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
