Remote Team Communication Tools to Increase Connectivity
No one could have imagined that the vast majority of workers around the world would transition to working from home overnight and for the foreseeable future. This massive shift has caused unprecedented levels of utilization, putting a strain across virtually all carrier networks and every solution provider’s platform.
To help mitigate any issues during peak meeting times and throughout the day, we have increased the capacity and resiliency of our network in each of our global regions. These actions should help ensure our customers and users can join video meetings without delays or issues. We are working closely with our carrier network partners to quickly react to any disruptions outside of our environment.
In addition, we are continuing to monitor our network utilization, performance, and availability to ensure our customers have the best experience so they can carry on business as usual. We are monitoring our platform for any sign of instability on a regular basis. In anticipation of increased demand, we dramatically increased the compute resources across the platform, added regional PoPs and have added additional capacity to respond to other emerging needs. We are being proactive and identifying several targeted software and configuration changes that allow us to quickly address additional demand as more and more regions mandate stay-at-home orders. We have been deploying improvements to our production environment on a daily basis and will continue this throughout the crisis so your workforce can stay connected from home.
For many companies, cloud communications is becoming a top priority when it comes to business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
