New TPN Plugins Available for Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer

September 30, 2013 by

We're excited to start the day by announcing our new web browser plugins for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer. The plugins simplify the UC experience by giving users click-to-call capability for telephone numbers displayed in a web browser.

The click-to-call capability is a time saver, eliminating the need to cut and paste or transpose phone numbers from web pages to communications end points. The plugins locate phone numbers on a web page and convert them into clickable links that are highlighted by the Thinking Phone Networks logo, making them easy to see and use. When users click on a phone number link next to the logo, a phone call is placed to their preferred device – smartphone, softphone, or desktop phone. The preferred device rings, the user picks up the call, and the outbound call is placed.

Web browser plugins are available now for all current Thinking Phone Networks customers with core user seats. The plugins support Google Chrome versions 29 or later; Mozilla Firefox versions 24 or later; and Internet Explorer version 10.
