Here at Fuze, we are continuing to expand our global channel program to meet the growing demand for enterprise communications and collaboration tools. As we continue to gain market momentum, this past year we announced the expansion of our global partner program to include reseller options and the ability for select partners to deliver Fuze professional services. We also held our first Professional Services Partner Summit, a day-long event with global partners from North America and EMEA with the goal to learn how to increase profitability and discover new tools and methods for enhanced delivery of Fuze services. More recently, Fuze was named to the CRN 2019 Mobility 100, an annual list of innovative mobile products and services, and received a five-star rating in CRN’s Partner Program Guide.
We recently sat down with one of our partners Russ Zielezinski, managing partner at Zamm Advisors, Inc., to talk about recent wins, the industry as a whole and how we work together.
Tell me about Zamm Advisor’s mission.
Trying to decide the best cloud services for your business can be time-consuming and daunting. At Zamm, we are committed to partnering with our customers to help them identify the best cloud services that meet their needs. We leverage our expertise to help them find the best rates and vendors, saving our customers time and money.
Why did you decide to partner with Fuze?
Our customers trust that we are connecting them to a service provider that will truly address all of their needs and elevate their enterprise experience. They want technology partners that will take the time to get to know them, their industry, their challenges, and provide a smart and effective solution. Fuze not only delivers an exceptional product and user experience, but Fuze truly makes an investment to get to know their customers. Fuze consistently offers more than a unified communications platform; Fuze will prepare your business for digital transformation and will propel enterprise efficiency into new heights.
Can you share an example of a recent joint success and how you work together?
We were approached by a healthcare company looking to consolidate voice and contact centers within disparate systems into one scalable platform to support their current and future needs. Typically, we bring two to three vendors into the mix so that customers can weigh their options, but it was clear from our first meeting that Fuze was the superior choice. Fuze’s sales team was truly instrumental in securing this customer win. The sales team not only flew out to meet the customer multiple times, but also made a point to personally get to know our customer. Fuze listened to their needs, put them at ease by addressing all of their questions, and expertly demonstrated why Fuze will revolutionize their enterprise collaboration and communication.
What is IaaS and why is it important for clients to consider along with adopting cloud based services?
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is essentially a cloud-based provider that sources and manages computing infrastructure over the internet. Instead of businesses having their data center onsite, which can be costly, they can outsource to an IaaS provider and have virtual access to hardware, networking components, servers, and data storage capabilities.
We recommend this to customers because it will lower their infrastructure costs, including not having to worry about hardware maintenance and disaster recovery; it increases their speed and agility; and allows businesses to grow without worrying if they can meet their technological needs. Most importantly, however, we find it keeps customers competitive, especially as more businesses adopt this model.
Where do you see the channel heading? Any major industry trends for the coming year?
I see two shifts happening simultaneously that will influence channel partnerships and cloud service trends in general. More businesses are adopting IaaS as a secure, money saving, and flexible way to grow their businesses and remain competitive within their markets. At the same time, businesses are becoming more global with distributed teams in multiple locations, which requires flexibility in their jobs. Ultimately, there is an increased need for efficient and effective communication and collaboration tools.
The combination of these two shifts means that companies need to control and better manage their business data and have one unified platform for enterprise communications. As a result, we see businesses continuing to rely heavily on providers such as Zamm and Fuze to help them embrace these workforce trends.
What’s one piece of advice you tell your customers?
Technology’s constant evolution, specifically within IT, has made the evaluation and decision-making process extremely difficult for organizations. We realized that IT leaders need a trusted advisor to help them navigate and find the right cloud vendors for their specific business.
Our team has developed the right processes to ensure our clients see the best technology offerings within the industry. Our agnostic, unbiased approach to vendor selection and overall expertise in the cloud space resonates with our customers. Zamm Advisors’ role is to be a trusted advisor for our clients as they go through an IT selection process.
