Summertime, and the #FuzeLife is Easy
August 24, 2017 by Amanda Maksymiw

One of the best perks of workplace flexibility is the ability to strive towards a greater work-life balance. This is all too clear during the summer, when employees are eager to make the most of the warm weather activities. Here at Fuze, we maintain a “Work From Anywhere” policy, which encourages employees to build a work schedule which best fits them. Whether that be a few days in the office, or a few days bouncing between home and a local coffee shop, Fuzers are empowered to take ownership of how they work.
During the summer months, it may translate to Fuzers working from the beach so they can get some sun or taking a quick call as they head towards a long weekend destination. Or it may mean working from home to spend some time with family. We encouraged all employees to share their summertime working experience via social media with the hashtag #FuzeLife, to highlight the envious places they find themselves working during the summer. Check out some of the submissions below.
Jean-Baptiste Julien takes a kickoff call from home. His son has a hard stop at 11:30 for nap time.

Rachael Foster was going, going, back, back, to get some work done on her flight to Cali, Cali.

Brittney Kelsey knocks out an email by the pool while in North Carolina. Not pictured: her jealous teammates.

No matter how many times we told him, CFO Brian Day didn’t believe he couldn’t lure a fish with a fresh W-4.

I couldn’t resist participating myself. Who could, with a view like this?

Now taking bets – CEO Colin Doherty, is he updating the board on the latest figures or playing Candy Crush?

“There seems to be some background noise on this call?
“Yeah sorry, that’s the boat. Forgot to go on mute.” – Steve Dietz

Thank you to everyone who participated in sharing their own perspective from the #FuzeLife! Want to see the rest of the submissions? Check out the hashtag on Twitter and Instagram. But the #FuzeLife doesn’t end once the summer comes to the close. The flexibility to work from anywhere to achieve your own work-life balance is important year-round.
