Understanding the Digital Workplace at UC Expo 2018

At its core, the future of work is defined by the changing nature of flexibility.   • Workforce Futures: Unlocking the Human Potential (May 16, 12:20-1:20pm) 

At a time where large enterprises like IBM and Yahoo are calling people back to the office, remote and flexible work are growing in popularity. Based on new global research surveying 6,600 employees across 10 countries, Fuze’s VP of Product Michael Affronti will share new findings on worker preferences on how, when, and where people like to work; what makes work effective; the role of automation/AI; and to what extent are we unlocking our human potential.

  • Productivity in the Digital Workplace (May 16, 1:40-2:10pm & May 17, 11:40-12:10pm)

With fewer people commuting to a traditional office every day of the week, how should you reevaluate productivity? As we bear witness to a multi-generational workforce consisting of employees that defines productivity differently, the digital workplace must continue to move from being an idea to becoming a reality. In this session, Fuze’s Product Strategist, Bradlee Allen will discuss programs for keeping employees engaged while maximizing the productivity of a multi-generational workforce. He will also discuss how technology can support efforts to facilitate communication with distributed workers.
