Footwear designer and manufacturer selects Fuze to streamline enterprise communications for its global workforce
Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications solution for the modern global enterprise, today announced it has been selected by The Rockport Group, a leader in men's and women's footwear since 1971, to future-proof its voice, video, and collaboration needs. With Fuze, The Rockport Groupimplements a truly unified communications (UC) platform for its 2,000+ employees globally.
Prior to Fuze, The Rockport Group had been using multiple vendors and conference systems for its voice and collaboration needs. The move to a new corporate headquarters signaled the right time for The Rockport Group's tech leaders to invest in streamlining its UC under a single cloud-based provider, one that could address its teams’ challenges, and quickly design and implement a new infrastructure.
“We needed an all-in-one solution that could be deployed in a matter of weeks, with the flexibility to support all of our employees globally,” said Tejaswi Rampure, IT Director, The Rockport Group. “Timed to the move of our global headquarters, we saw an opportunity to consolidate our communications and needed a partner with local resources to support us. Fuze was the obvious choice given the size and locations of our global workforce, and its ability to support regional locations around the world.”
The Rockport Group had a cloud-first mindset, and by replacing its legacy solutions with the modern Fuze platform, employees will enjoy a consistent and connected experience with voice, video, and collaboration all in one tool. The Boston Fuze team had the opportunity to spend time with future Rockport Group Fuzers – running a “day in the life” session where they walked more than 60 employees through the solution to help the IT team understand what employees need for successful adoption.
“The Rockport Group is the latest example of a global enterprise seizing the opportunity to overhaul its communications infrastructure and migrate toward a future-proof solution as it grows and scales operations,” said Steve Kokinos, CEO, Fuze. “Organizations are fed up with redundant and disconnected communications experiences caused by overlapping services. They want to offer the best experience possible, increase adoption, reduce costs, and be in control. We don’t think that’s a lot to ask, and the reality is that a truly unified communications platform – one that can keep up with the pace of today’s mobile-enabled business – is well within reach.”
